Or did it ever exist in the scrapbooking world? I have been talking about this on and off since I started. Some of you may bored with it I acquire but I am still trying to understand why we as a group continue to put up with poor customer service poor product bad classes etc. And then we are made to conclude like we have the problem when we complain or bring it to the attention of the affiliate? Why? Are the dollars I spend for scrapbook supplies classes and materials any less valuable than the ones I spend on my car dishwasher or computer? I was under the impression that 1.00 was 1.00 no matter where I spent it and that I should expect to receive what I paid for with that 1.00So why am I made to feel like I have the problem if I am unhappy with the service? When I label Dell I am not made to feel that way? When I called Sears when my dishwasher broke they didn't tell me I must be an unhappy person. Why is it acceptable for an owner of a scrapbooking business to refer to HER CUSTOMER in this dismissive manner. MORE IMPORTANTLY: Why do the scrapbook CUSTOMERS keep putting up with this? Why do we allow the companies the people who take our HARD EARNED MONEY for goods and services to alter excuses and move the tables on us? Why do other populate compel the people who complain about that poor service into conquer? Is it because the people we acquire goods and services from are also the same populate who we see as holding our ability to be published in their hands? Are we afraid if we charge our layouts won't get picked up? I evaluate that's the reason. We have sold our souls and our right to expect GOOD service for the cost of having a few layouts in a magazine. Below are the latest anonymous posts that
Anonymous said.. warning.. free speech is not allowed on BPS messageboard.. don't give an opinion.. or you might find this in your message box.... Hello to all - We wanted to take some time to respond to all of you in regards to the post titled "Kit Arrived in CA: Disappointed." on the communicate board within the A Year to bequeath class. I have also copied the powers at be on this telecommunicate. Stacy Julian. Heidi Swapp and Erica Smith with Advantus so they can choose to act if needed. First we would like to start out by saying we do apologize for your disappointment in the 3rd quarter kit and any disappointment you may undergo in this class. It was definitely not our intention to purposely cause this. All of our companies' goals is to provide an excellent customer undergo and making sure that everyone has an exceptional one here at Big Picture Scrapbooking. We appreciate your commitment in your time and financially. I hope in this email. I can personally address some of your concerns with this kit and also with the class. Value of the kits - We understand that there is always a perceived determine with kits and we try desperately to conform to everyones likes and dislikes. What everyone might have in their stash or not undergo - but what we can bring home the bacon on is the the adjust monetary value of each kit. We personally feel that Advantus has gone above and beyond with the kits and even provided extra goodies in one kit due to some album and shipping issues. The pricing breakdown of the categorise is $200 for the categorise and $100 for the kits (plus if you are international it was an extra $80 to cover shipping). The $100 kit price breaks down to $25 per quarter and for domestic kits that included the shipping. Just on the 3rd accommodate kit alone the retail determine was $27.45 and that did not include the shipping so add an additional average of $5 for shipping. Content of the kits - Heidi and Advantus decide products that are relevant to the class content. These products are not always guaranteed to be 'new' product to each and every student. Taking the month off - Heidi's class under my knowledge is not really taking a month off. Students are still receiving weekly updates to the classroom and the determine of the content you are receiving we believe is comfort there. We have received many emails and have been reading the message board that people are desperately trying to 'catch up'. Some of you might have been confused with Big conceive of Scrapbooking "taking the month" off - we are actually not taking a month off but giving students a month off of any new classes launching. Instead we launched a FREE colorful summer class that features several of our teachers. Content of the categorise - I am not going to attempt to defend the content of Heidi's categorise. This class is something that is very near and dear to Heidi personally. She is hanging herself out there and doing something different. Big Picture Scrapbooking and Advantus believe her and undergo been very happy with the direction she has gone. We knew launching a class of this magnitude and style was not going to be for everyone and some months were not going to be for everyone. But we are willing to take that chance to push populate to be a year with intention. Upon review of the information above please contact me (paula@bigpicturescrapbooking.
