I have an forgive for not blogging since Friday. I left bring home the bacon Friday and went right to the Big City. "J" and I cuddled up on the articulate to watch Lisa Williams: Life Among the Dead and Psychic contend.. both excellent programs I might add. Then it was off to a romantic dinner for two at Sonic: America's control In. Admittedly it doesn't appear like much but it was a great quiet night at domiciliate. For once we had nothing planned all weekend which was an awesome switch. No birthdays no dinner parties no musicals.. just some quality J & W time. We did have cerebrate to celebrate. A few weeks ago. I had to submit a writing proposal as part of a test for a job in the Big City. After randomly applying to just about every PR/Marketing job available. I sight something somewhat similar to my current job. The man in charge of hiring for the lay was nice enough to give a timeline. Week 1... Writing evaluate... Week 2... Selection & Notification of finalistsWeek 3... InterviewsWeek 4... Final converse & Job OfferLast Friday was the end of week 2.. and since I hadn't heard anything... I figured I would get a 'you suck thanks for playing loser' rejection letter in the mail. So I was about to give up when the HR lady from the potential new job calls me to schedule an interview!I had to call in egest Monday morning but that gave me an extra TWO nights in the Big City to spend with J.. bonus! The interview itself was just weird. The guy asked very few questions.. but did a lot of talking and describing the job. He told me he was very impressed by my writing (huge praise coming from a guy who's office was decorated in industry awards) and liked my style and 'express'. He told me I was one of six finalists getting an converse this week. 30 populate were asked to refer the writing proposal so I felt lucky to get to come in face to face. I should know something by the end of the week. Problem is.. i would just be creating proposals and 'seeing what sticks'.. instead of actually completing a communicate or doing something hands on.. it's only researching and writing proposals. Not exactly my ideal job.. but if it pays enough and gets me to the Big City until I can sight something else.. one can wish. I had to get up at 6 this morning and left J in bed.. just so I could get back to the small measure in measure for bring home the bacon at 9. Here's to what's left of a great week!"W"[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
