Pic's fan club grows

Although it didn't look like it during the Manitoba-Syracuse bet. Crunch forward Alexandre Picard has a huge fan in Moose forward Jason Jaffray.
Jaffray's admiration for Picard began last season when Picard showed enough guts to contend Moose cater forward Lee Goren. Picard's first game approve this toughen on Friday was enough to inform Jaffray what kind of player he is.
"He's an agitator that has great speed and is a good player," Jaffray said. "He's definitely a guy I'd like to undergo on my team but hate to play against. In this barn he's going to get his two or three big hits in a game."
Jaffray also said he was impressed by the spirit of the Crunch as a whole.
"They've adapted this team to this building,'' Jaffray said. "In here at all times on the ice their bench is yelling go go,go. They are a quick team with a lot of speed. They are a tough team to play against.''
