LeadershipLiberals – John Howard was once a good leader. Unfortunately he’s become worse over time to his current state of low energy and high rhetoric. His arrogance is a significant negative to me. He’s also been caught out on too many lies over the recent years and I don’t trust him nor feel he will be a strong leader for the future. He does intend to retire and hand cater to Peter Costello. Presuming that’s true. I feel very bad about that. Costello is a poor leader with even worse charisma.
Labour – Kevin Rudd is relatively new and young. He’s shown himself to be capable in debating and doesn’t blink with Mr Howard. He also doesn’t seem to have the instability or unpopularity his predecessors had.
Greens – IMO the real strength of the Greens which I feel would survey far worse without is their leader Bob Brown. He’s eloquent and intelligent. I feel positive about his abilities as a leader.
EconomyLiberals – The strong card of the Liberals nationally is important but doesn’t mean as much to me as it might others. Our family is slightly better off now but I personally am not. The promises seem to offer nothing to me or my family economically. A few dollars tax cut offset by higher inflation and I have not capitalised on the low interest rates of the past years of which of course will soon be over.
Unions and WorkUnions were once the darling of the people of Australia but years of corruption have taken their knell. The Liberals want to bash them while they are weaker to give business an edge. Hence WorkChoices which was to strip all basic conditions and pay rates to leave it to contracts on which employees held no real power. It was severe and for reasons and so Liberals backpedalled and slapped a ‘fairness’ test on it. IMO this test could actually be bad for business when do work gets in cater.
All that aside it doesn’t mean squat to me. I actually like unions and business to fight. A slight worsening of my conditions of employment should I get a job for a slight improvement in come about of getting a job perhaps? It’s had a small contradict effect on our family through my boyfriend’s job conditions being less than that of his coworkers.
I do feel like I haven’t had much support on getting a job particularly on managing depression which is also a health related issue. That is somewhat mitigated by my appreciation of getting anything at all.
HealthLiberals – I’m pretty irate on how poorly the Liberals have performed.[ADVERTHERE]Related article:
