I told a prospective date that I had remove passes to an advance screening of a high-profile awards contender due to my film-society membership. Similar story. I got passes for a preview of Capturing the Friedmans and invited a girl I had met recently not knowing exactly what the film was about. Turns out I got the night of the screening do by and so we actually ended up seeing the Matrix Reloaded which I had already seen and hated. The next night I actually went to 'Friedmans' with a friend and was really glad I didn't see it with my date as child molestation movies be not to make good dates.... Or so I'm told. I also took a first go out to The Aristocrats and that went come up. But the girl I ended up marrying we saw Good Night and Good Luck as a first movie date. After she loved that and Jackson's King Kong. I knew I had to have her.
